Just released: New app Confidential Fields with Data Residency for Jira

👋 Say hello to bitvoodoo’s first Jira Cloud app: Confidential Fields with Data Residency for Jira! We are excited to have our first Forge app available in the Atlassian Marketplace since September 2022 🎉.

🔐 Encryption & access permission

Confidential Fields has two main features:

• It encrypts Confidential Field data with powerful AES 256 so that no unencrypted data can ever leave Jira.
• It allows you to set view and edit permissions for Jira custom fields so that no unauthorized people can access the data.

🏠 Data Hosting

We built this app to allow Jira Cloud users to host their custom field data in the Data Residency of their choice. Being located in Switzerland, bitvoodoo knows the struggle of (potential) Cloud customers who cannot host their data in their own country by default. We believe all customers should have a choice that makes them comfortable using Atlassian Cloud.
